Doric began in Sydney, Australia in 1969, as a hardware manufacturer supplying innovative door and window hardware for residential, commercial and architectural applications. Today, Doric has a global footprint which includes a network of branches located in Australian capital cities and regional locations as well as throughout Asia-Pacific (Doric Products Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd., Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and Auckland, New Zealand.

Doric is proud of our dedicated Malaysian based offices, representing our commitment in the Asia-Pacific region. Since established in 1998, Doric’s products have been specified in numerous high profile buildings around Malaysia, and throughout South East Asia. With a strong focus on R&D and a global reach, Doric is able to provide the highest level of design, testing, service and delivery standards our clients demand. Doric has been awarded multiple AWA (Australian Window Association) Design Awards to date, including ‘Most Innovative Component’ in 2007 and 2009.

Our History

Doric Products began operations above an old racehorse stable in 1972 as a tiny brass window fabricator under the guidance of the founding directors Ray Long and Roy Alchin.

Doric has now expanded to a multinational private business servicing the Asia Pacific and North American regions, supplying the hardware industry with quality, innovative and market leading window and door hardware.
